House Building Update - February 8, 2008
Today, they started installing the windows and finished the coffered ceilings in the study and master bedroom. During Pam's visit this afternoon, she noticed an error in the placement of Lilly's bedroom window. They will have to move the window opening before they can install the windows. The framing is now 98.7% complete with only a few rafters remaining. We are still on schedule for roof decking on Monday.

Very nice! The windows make it look real now. I can't wait to see the final product.

Cool door! It will be even cooler when it really serves the purpose to keep things out, like people, random animals, the elements!
Oh, how fun it will be when we finally embark on our house-building adventure. Purportedly, this is the "forever" house, so we don't want to rush into anything.
